Hi Capt Phil, I never comment in blogs and have never ever spent so much time trying to find out how a tv personality is doing! I’m hooked on the show and pray your health returns to full, but even more that you are happy with the decisions you have to make about fishing. perhaps you will be the next coffee king, staying warm, dry and caffeinated up!

Capt Phil, I have never missed an episode of my fav show deadliest catch. The episode where you fell ill aired in Australia last night. I went to bed and could not sleep a wink wondering if you are ok. So I searched the internet to find out how you are doing.

I wish you well for the upcoming season and look forward to seeing you and your boys on my TV screen again really soon.

Just watched the episode of DC where you’ve just seen the doc in St Paul (discovery uk) just wanted to pass my best wishes to you and the family and wish you a speedy recovery. As the others, i would love to see you back but your health is much more important!!

Here in Japan,season 4 is now aired,8th episode on this week.this is before Capt. Phil “nearly died”.I’ve read here.
Even before I read it,until 8th episode,I already worried about Phil’s health…

We Japanese import many crabs,but I didn’t know where they come from before I began watch “Deadliest Catch”.what a ignorance of me.

Dear Capt.Phil.
You are a Captain,you know what is needed for captain.Expect you’ll be on TV next season can be too much,for me,watcher with ignorance.
When you back to fish,with complete..or.”you think good enough to be captain”health,please.

Love the show always watch it and the repeats. I’ve just seen the Episode where you were hit and it’s really upsetting to find that you’re very ill now. Obviously my family and myself haven’t seen all the episodes this season yet but out thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time. Dear Capt. Phil,

I have watched Deadliest Catch with my dad since the first ever show on the Discovery Channel in England and have never missed an episode

We were sitting last night watching the latest installment and we are so sorry that the doctor on St. Pauls gave you the news about your health not being a broken rib

We would like to send our thoughts to you and your family, and wish you a full recovery and to see you back on the Cornelia Marie a.s.a.p.

We have to wait til next tues 9.pm to see the next episode here, and just hope in the mean time everythings been ok

Adding one more prayer to all the many hundreds (or more) being said for you, your family, & your health, Capt. Phil. I am absolutely “hooked”—pun intended!—on DC & hope you can return, but as others have said, your health is much more important, so take good care of yourself & do what is best to get you healthy again. Murray did a great job–there was really a good cohesiveness. I love the sense of family that can be felt even thru the “tube”, with you, your boys, & also other crews that have multiple family members. Tho I’ve met none of you personally, you all feel like family & are discussed with my family & friends just as tho you were! I pray for all the crews that are out there yearly risking their lives in this high stakes profession. God Bless each & every one of you!

Just sending my thoughts and prayers to Capt. Phil for a speedy recovery. My dad had the same problem and so did his father so he made all us kids go for genetic testing and 2 of his 4 kids (including me) carry the gene that make a person more susceptible to clots, so make sure those boys get tested too! You’re my favorite captain (with Jonathan and Sig running a close 2nd and 3rd). I would luv, luv, luv to see you back in season 5, but I would rather see you healthy and safe than taking such a risk with your life just for tv. My dream someday is to visit Alaska. I know I may never make it to Alaska, but if you’re ever in PA I’d love to have a ride on that Harley! Grrrrr baby….you’re a hottie!
