Hey Josh…I just wanted to tell you that it was nice seeing the soft side of you taking care of your dad when he was having trouble breathing and where you were trying to convince him that he needed to get medical help. You guys had to be a mess, but you all held it together. On the show you said you wanted your dad to be proud of you. Your dad is a great man Josh and he is proud of you. You can tell that by how he talks to you boys. Your dad is the best of the captains out there. If I had to pick a ship to be on, it would be yours. Your dad said on the show when he was so sick that he wasnt so tough. Taking care of your health does not make you a wuss. He is a tough guy as you all are. It takes alot of balls to do what you all do. Thanks for the great episodes! Hope to see your dad back on the ship in no time!

Josh,
I would like to commend you ,your father and brother Jake as well as all the fishermen out there on the Bering Sea for doing what you do. There are not a lot of men out there that would risk their lives to do what you guys do year after year. God bless you, watch over you and keep you ALL safe.
I am from the state of Maine and own a small seafood processing business. As you know, of course the crab here are different than the ones you fish for but, if you are ever in the state of Maine I would like to invite you and yours to come taste the freshest Maine seafood my company has to offer.
I had all my crew watch The Deadliest Catch because I think (and now so do they and now watch faithfully )that my ex looks a lot like you (only we ALL think you are a bigger Q-T-PIE) and would love to send a pic of him to show you. Because I am not so computer literate, I don’t know how to attach the pic to this message.
Again I would like to give you (and the other guys) props. Be careful, be safe, stay strong, and most importantly keep smiling Josh. (gotta luv that smile)

My girlfriends and I think it is hot to see you guys on TV. We actually get together about once a month to catch a new episode. We make margaritas, watch the show, and fight over who is the hottest seaman on the Bering Sea….You’ve won 4 out of 7 times…not bad Josh.
Hello from San Antonio…home of hot mexican food, great margaritas, and beautiful Latin women who love real men.

Cornelia Marie Crew,
You guys deserve a pat on the back because of all the hard work you all do. I know that it is rewarding but you somehow make it look easy and I know that it is NOT. I often ask my husband does he think he could ever work on a boat like you all do and he said no. I don’t blame them. I see those big waves that the Bering Sea throws at ya’ll and I would just die of a heart attack. I have my brother hooked on the show and now my mom. We are big fans of your show and my God Bless you all and have a safe trip out on sea so you all can return to your loved ones. Keep up the good work and I love the relationship that the crew has and Mr. Phil, “You remind me of my uncle.” “He treats his kids the same way you do towards your boys, I think it is very funny but at the same time LOVING.” Take care and good luck.

Josh looks like he’s mad they chose those other “bozos” (j/k, obviously) instead of HIM to be king of the crab hill.
That’s a great pic! Thanks for sharing!

NYC is ok. You need to visit the Southern Jersey shore. It’s not exciting like NY but it’s a great place to see. Not all of NJ is factories & highway.
