Capt. Phil & sons at Ballard Seafood Fest
Capt. Phi appeared with other Captains of the “Deadliest Catch” for a good cause. Captains Larry Hendricks and Sig Hansen, born and bred in Ballard, and fellow crab boat captain Phil Harris, joined in to answer questions and sign autographs. T-shirts were sold to benefit the “Seattle Fishermens’s Memorial”, a charitable organization devoted to promoting safety in the fishing fleets and easing the emotional and financial burden of surviving family members of fishermen lost at sea.

As a dedicated fan of Deadliest Catch, I am in complete awe of the job you guys do. I just love watching your boat on the show, and all that happens to you guys. God Bless you all. As a “city” girl, I don’t get to live in such a beautiful place as you guys do, and it was great to see you guys are active in the off season, and helping those who lost their lives in the Bering Sea. I can’t wait to see the next season, and hope your crew are still a part of it. New York City loves you guys, and keep safe! I am soooooooooo mad that the show wasn’t on today, the one day i get off of school and it’s not on. THAT SUCKS!!!
Anyway have u ever hurd Concrete Angel by Martina McBride. It’s so sad, its about a little girl getting bettin to her death.
I cry every time i hear it. but it’s a very good song. It’s my favorite song. I’m listening to it now and i cant stop picturing
whats happening in the song, and im trying not cry. It weird cause every time i listen to it i know im going to cry but i listen
to it away. But i’ll stop crying once i listen to it soooo many times. o.k. now im listening to Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry.

OMG, my school is awsome but i really miss watching the show and the one day i get off i just had to sleep in. but my mom finaly bought me a blank tape so now i can tape the show, if i can figure out how to tape it. my school is going great, i have a’s in all classes. my b-day is about 2 weeks away. OMG we when to The Texas Road House today for dinner and today is also my dads b-day and my brother as weird as he his told the people and they made him sit on a sattel and we sang happy birthday he said it wasn’t that embarrassing but he doesn’t want to it again. it soooo funny. Have u ever been to the texas road house? It’s AWSOME, they have this butter and bread that is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. ( thats the 2nd reason we went )the first was dads b-day. but i am stuffed now and i really dont want ice-cream( as hard as that is to believe) but it was kool. we also went to the Apple Blossom today and i got bring a friend ( Erin Sweet ) and we got so many apples and about 3 pumpkins ( my friend got one too ) but we get carve then 2 days befor Halloween!!!!! well i an going to go ask my dad how to set up blank tape. Type back ( anyone )

OMG, tomorrow is Monday and i Monday off school so i am sooooo exicted cause i get to watch the show. I love school so far. It’s awsome cause we get to swich classes, and i meat a lot of new peaple. and i kept all of my old friends too, me and my BFF Erin Sweet go to each others house every weekend, but not this weekend cause i dont feel good, my throut hurts and i knida had a headache and my nose was very stuffed, and i was very tired. I MISS watching the show it’s not fair, can they change the time to maybe 6? I’m going to tape all the shows, r they still reruns? OMG i got a cold from sis so i might stay home from school if it gets worse, it does suck though cause i feel like CRAP, now but im still liveing, lol, My B-day is a month away YES!!!!! I REALLY want the sweatshirt and shirt. I love my school but all of my classes r soooo boring besides the very end of the day ( Mr. Fowler ) is the best teacher, but thats my opinion, well im watching music videos ( COUNTRY ) on my t.v., but im going to go browse around on the site.

Have you heard the song “If your goin’ through Hell” By Rodney Adkins? ( he isn’t related to Trace Atkins fyi). I think some days that would be your song. this is the shortest blog I have ever seen from an action packed show. Not that is bad, short and sweet you know! lol. Listen if Deadliest Catch wasn’t rejected by fried brains you could be come celebrities. I mean like a main street star! I was able to shoot a show with 4 people I’d be you 3 harris’s and my step sister. The most bravest souls are always the sweetest or the toughest.

I am so glad today is the 12th cause tomorrow is the 13th and the new season starts. I an going to get up at 8:30 in the morning and eat then get ready then sit in my chair next to my t.v. and wait untill 9:00 to watch it. It’s on at 9:00 were im at ( IL ). Well can’t wait to see tomorrow on t.v.

I love the cornelia marie. I love it so much my room is the colors of the boat! I love the show but I can’t watch it until monday cause of shark week. When school starts I can’t watch it cause I have to be on the bus by 10 to 7. And in the evneing i have to be in bed by 8:30. If I had the DVD I could watch it after homework for a reward. I know, hey it’s better than shopping!!! I think out of all my friends I’m the weridest because I watch deadliest catch. Some are like “You only like it beacuse of the guys.” I do. SOME guys are kind of cute, but the dudes tell the story and the other half of my friends think they guys get hurt, get beter, fish for crab, get hurt, and don’t get better. I tell them there are little important things that hold it all together. Okay, but anyway you guys are the best I wish I could be like you someday after people realize STUPIDstions aren’t real. If you think’s gunna be bad cause like a girl is on your boat it will be bad but if you don’t everything will be just fine. But then again the BEARING sea is unpredictable. I’m getting off track. Litsten, when I start typing I type a novel. I’m sorry. Listen, have fun (or try to, I can understand it’s pretty hard with people cursing and yelling at you pretty much all the time)and be safe!

ur boat on t.v. cause Deadliest Catch is on at 9:00 in the morning and my school starts at 8 in the morning, but i will

Great pic. Great cause. I just went to the Fishermen’s Memorial in Gloucester, Mass. and it was so sobering. My husband and I just stood there looking out to sea with the memorial and were silent and teary. So many names. We also visited the Fishermen’s Wives Memorial there.
