New items in CM Store
After many blogs about Phil’s health, I thought I would give the Captain a break. So, we have new items in the store! Check them out and let me know what you think. Basically, we just stock items that people ask for… and that our guys actually wear. Jake stopped by the office the other day to pick up some new CM gear… so I made him pose for a couple shots. BTW-the pictures in our store are either Cornelia Marie crew or fans, so send in your photos. Send them to:![]()

Did you know that God above, created YOU for us to love. He picked YOU out from all the rest, cause He knew we’d love YOU best. We love and missed you on the show. Destiny

Phil-my hopes and prayers for a super speedy recovery. You guys rock. Totally awesome. I was so bummed out when you could not be on the last few episodes. That sucked. The show was not the same and will never be the same without you. But your health and well being is defintley your priority. Take care Phil and the crew of the Cornelia Marie. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. Bye for now.

Hey Captain Phil Harris,
Just wanted to say get well and God Speed. I too am a blood clot survivor. When I was 39 and now 43, so stick with the program and you too will be a survivor. I know how bad those damn shots hurt tho!, defintely something you don’t look forward to each day. My childern and I love the show and never miss an episode. You are by far the sexiest Captain out on the Bering Sea! Oh, and I’m a nurse, do you need a private nursing for home! Just playing….good luck with u and the boys next season……Justine, Ashtabula ,Ohio

Phil, you have been fishing since you were 7 years old and it hurts to lose something you love doing. Last year I was laidoff from my job that I had for over 20 years. Life goes on but that thought doesn’t make it any easier to accept. Take care of yourself as you have a wonderful family and I’m sure you want to be around for them.

Phil ever coming to Tampa, Florida? Love to see you here! Lisa G.

Get well Captain Phil. Godspeed Cornelia Marie and her crew as well as all of the other crews that brave those waters.
July 23rd, 2008 at 11:52 pm
Hey Phil and the crew of the Cornelia Marie,
You’ve had your share of working ER/ICU nurses fretting about your health and the impact on your crew. Take care, get well and may your crew stay in one piece too!
Oh, and by the way, my husband loves your ship.

Capt. Phil, can you stand one more message wishing you speedy recovery? I hope you don’t mind. I’m also a blood-clot survivor, like many of the folks who posted here. Mine were caused by my pregnancy with my younger son - something you wouldn’t relate to! Luckily the clots hurt like HECK so after a week my OB decided I didn’t have just a “charlie horse” in my leg & needed to go to the ER. I was only 31 @ the time. I am a grateful lady now at age 49, very thankful the Good Lord watched over me and guided me and my internist. My younger boy is now 17 & my older boy is 21. I have had a total BLAST raising sons, something you CAN relate to! And, I am super-glad to have had the opportunity to watch my boys grow up & become young men.
Anyhow I really enjoy the show and am delighted to read that you are on the mend and following a good treatment regimen. I’ve gotten a kick of how your boys know how to “push your buttons” sometimes. My kids like to do that to my hubby, too.
My God bless you and your family. I’ll be thinking of you next time I indulge in some yummy crab legs! –Alison

Where can I get my hands on a Capt. Phil birdhouse?
Stay well Phil.
July 23rd, 2008 at 1:23 pm
Hey guys,
Just wanted let you guys know that i had a recent experience where my boat took on water and capsized in Lake Erie while fishing for Walleye 4 miles out. The Coast guard truley are heroes! Nothing can prepare you for the feeling that you get as the last part of your boat submerges and you are left treading water. I can imagine thats what Phil felt like when he found out what was going on in his lungs, and I pray that never happens to any of you while your earning a living for your families. Just wanna let you all know that wheather your fighting for your life in a hospital or for your life on the Bearing Sea, that you guys are all very brave and I admire each and everyone of you for your courage. From a member of the USAF and a dedicated fisherman for life, God bless you and your crew.

Captain Phil, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
July 22nd, 2008 at 3:14 pm
so i cant really decide between jake and josh, but you’re both really hot. but my fav episode was when josh was rubbing oil all over himself
ANYWAYSS ahah so im not typically the type of person who would religiously watch your show being a cheerleader in highschool from the suburbs of new york city in connecticut (you know the whole stereotype). my family consequently think im crazy but after that marathon a couple weeks ago, i am completely obsessed. through the show i have proven to myself that i can do more or less or whatever i want than what people expect of me. so thank youuuu, you’re all a big inspiration to me!
love the show, phil, jake and josh.
July 22nd, 2008 at 2:57 pm
Hey it’s me again. Spamming your website, lol. The season is ending, so I’ll be on here a lot cuz of DC withdraw. And I’m gonna buy a hoodie so soon! I love hoodies! Is it me or would Pain by Three Days Grace be the perfect theme song for the show? That song is so awesome.
July 21st, 2008 at 1:36 pm
Capt. Phil,
Many are praying for your quick recovery. May the wind be at your back and the seas calm during your convalescence.
July 21st, 2008 at 10:31 am
So the season’s ending…so sad. See,
sad. No new episodes to treat us with Jake every week, no staying up really late on Tuesdays watching the show. Nothing.
July 21st, 2008 at 8:44 am
I would also like to know how to become the proud owner of one of Phil’s birdhouse. The sound awesome. Oh yeah, Jake Schmake! Josh REALLY has it going on!

The Cornelia Marie is my favorite boat (ship?) of the fleet!! I think that what ya’ll do is so very interesting and probably alot more exciting than anything most people will ever do! Dpt. Phil you must get better! i don’t know what the show (or the Cornelia Marie) would do without you! You and your crew bring a charisma to the show! I only wish I had the guts to do what ya’ll do daily!!

July 17th, 2008 at 11:00 am
Hey. Just wanted to give a shout out to the Cornelia Marie guys from hot, humid Houston, Texas. Jake, it’s about time for your next prank and if I may, I suggest a prank war with Edgar Hansen. If you need help with any crazy, crabby mischief, shoot me an email!!! Stay safe guys and I’ll keep ya’ll in my prayers.
July 16th, 2008 at 8:42 pm
Dear Captain Phil,
Many, many hugs and best wishes to you from Florida, take plenty of rest and I hope to see you on the Cornelia Marie soon.

I’m glad to hear you’re doing good. As for you and your sons it’s a damn cuties fest..lol I’m a dork either way good luck out there.
July 16th, 2008 at 12:42 pm
Hey Capt Phil, Glad to see you looking better!! What I’d like to know is, how can I become the proud owner of a Captain Phil-made bird feeder? No, seriously. I would like to buy one, please, so could you kindly let me know if you would be willing to sell one, and how much you would like for it? I know you only described them a little on “After the Catch”. My husband and I are avid bird feeders and would love to be able to get one of yours. Please do what the docs tell you, I know you don’t like it but they are the ones with the medical degree!! Blessings to you and your family, ~~Chris
July 16th, 2008 at 11:43 am
To Captain Phil and the gang- you are in my prayers as always- put your trust in God and be well! Remember, If God gets you up in the morning, you’d better spend the rest of the day figuring out why! You guys are a wonderful blessing to us all.
July 16th, 2008 at 9:11 am

July 16th, 2008 at 7:55 am
Hey Captain Phil! First of all, I’m with Mike Rowe - Do what you are told. It sucks for the duration but I’m living proof that the Dr’s know what they are doing. Hang tough and soon this will be a distant memory. I just know you are going to be ok.
Jake and Josh - you be sure to take good care of your Dad! You guys are so great with him. It is nice to see kids that actually love and respect their parent.
I want a birdfeeder! How can I buy one?
God bless you all!
July 16th, 2008 at 6:48 am
Keep up the good work guys. I am hoping the best for Capt Phil. Take Care and thanks to you and the crews for all you do.
July 16th, 2008 at 2:16 am
Praying for you like crazy, Captain Phil! Looking forward to many more high sea adventures upon your full recovery. It has been so moving to see how much your boys and crew love you. God bless you!
July 15th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
Hello Captain Phil!
I am very happy to hear that you are feeling better, and I have to say that I agree with Mike Rowe-please do what the docs are telling you to do. I want to be watching you and your crew hauling crab for a good long while yet. Just want you to know you have yet another person cheering for you and your recovery and continued health.
But enough of that.
What I really want to know is, how can I become the proud owner of a Captain Phil-made bird feeder? No, seriously. I would like to buy one, please, so could you kindly let me know if you would be willing to sell one, and how much you would like for it? I know you only described them a little on “After the Catch”, but a bird feeder with a satellite dish sounds like such a cool and unusual design. Let me know, OK?
Thanks, and be well.
Hello Jake and Josh!
July 15th, 2008 at 9:55 pm

We were so worried and touched when you were sick, and we cried along with your poor sons, it was hard seeing them so down and knowing how it feels to loose a father, I knew what they were feeling, so Jake and Josh and all the crew, we think you did the right thing when you pushed for your dad to leave for the hospital…..God bless all of you and the whole fleet, all the Captains and crews but our many prayers are with You Captian Phil……here;s to your health, your recovery and for many more year’s of watching you and the rest of the great Captain’s and crews of the Deadliest Catch…..
